My girls are showing signs of laying already. Saw first breeding today and the ganders are being jerks. My oldest fella Gee, a white Chinese snapped out of it as soon as he saw mom had fermented corn! Its funny, he says a high pitched "huuuuh?"like he's asking me what I am doing. I give fermented whole corn for a treat during winter. Of course Angel, my white Chinese goose gobbled it down and Gee ran everyone off.
My Brown Chinese trio got another scoop fully away from the older pair, so they can enjoy it too. I also noted all 3 ladies are gobbling oyster shell.

Getting closer every day to breeding season here I can see personality changes daily. What about there how close to breeding season are you?

Yes they are, so maybe next spring. You'll have to follow along on the 2017 hatching thread to get your gosling fix. I will too no goslings for me either.

Micheal your geese are just a littwl younger then mine about 5 or 6 months i think 6th ey should start mating soon possibly.
