The African and Chinese goose thread!!

I have a question I have two Chinese geese one male one female.. The female has a nest and she didn't get off it for four to five days. She got off nest today to come up and eat so we went to look at her best to see how many eggs she has and there is no eggs in her nest. Is it okay that she hasn't laid an eggs in four to five days? And why is she constantly on it if she doesn't have any eggs?

Thats called Broody. She is ready to raise babies, and so determined she has built a nest. She feels its time to sit, so just be patient with her. Its a natural instinct and a young goose is working out what nature tells her to do. How old are they?

Any Idea what breed(s) this little (light colored) one may be? I hatched her/him a few weeks ago from some eggs I bought online. The seller says he has Chinese, Sebastopol, Toulouse, and American Blue Buff so I'm not sure which this one might be. The other baby, I'm assuming, is a brown Chinese...? They are a week apart in age.

This is another picture of them.

Another picture of the 2 of them.

These 2 I purchased from a store about an hour away. They are a few weeks older than the first pair. They are "hatchery choice" from Ideal Poultry. I think they might be African - is there any way to tell, for sure if they are African or Chinese?

I wish we were closer. My goose just keeps laying but won't set.

The little bluish baby is probably a blue buff. Hard to say African or Chinese at the age the others are.

I'm new here not sure where to post this but my young goose has a weird lump on the side of her head, it looked like a tick but it's not. Any ideas?
