Wish I could get updated photo's to load.
Lovesgliders~ LOL! Ain't that the truth about the little tattletails! A gal can't even get up in the morning and start making coffee around here without the geese having something to say about it. Oh my they have excellent hearing and eyesight. They live about 175 feet away from the house now since we had a bobcat issues recently and they honk at every noise they hear in the house or any movement seen in the windows or french doors. We love hearing them talk to us. I love watching my DH talk back to them.
Miss Lydia~ The bobcat??? Who knows. Some of our other neighbors also experieced troubles from him but we were the only one to suffer any losses. Neighbors have been on watch as have we, nobody has seen nor had any further issues since the loss of the geese. Guess the cat was a wonderer. The geese have taken to living in my old Barnevelder coop that recently became available when I sold off my Barnies. The geese love it up here closer to the house and humans, but they really need more yard/grass space than they are limited to in the chicken yard. No matter what I do and since the bobcat...... they will not return to the pasture for grazing.
