The age old question, are these roos or hens?

I got 9 RIR's that are about 6 weeks old now(I think) I don't particularly want a rooster as I am a newbie at this chicken stuff. Not all of them would cooperate but maybe if you all could help with the sex of these, then I have something to go by when looking at the others.

I see girls. Boy combs start growing pretty early and you can often tell around 4 weeks if the comb turns red and starts to grow. Looks like you lucked out!

I say all pullets as well. Rounded hackle feathers.

Notable sickle and hackle feathers don't come in until 12 weeks - feathers are not a good way to gender distinguish at this age unless it's a laced or barred breed where the roos and hens feather much differently.

Let's hope so! The others look pretty much the same as the ones in the first picture. I have been worrying myself silly about what to do with the roosters...now maybe I wont have to worry about it, thanks! Now I have to figure out roos/hens in the Silkies(sp?).
