Ok, but there is lots of work to be done around here. Husband is not as welcoming to multiple chickens as he used to be. But i told him already there will be lots of rabbits. And maybe turkeys. And pigs...

Any butchering of pigs will be avoided by me (for a while anyway). However, I'm quite persuasive. I'll have my new father saying yes to anything.
I want a pony!

So, we will have goats, birds, swine, cattle and equestrian. I can't wait!!

Oh! And if course rabbits, dogs and a few cats.

We never butchered our pigs. Were going to but we got a good price for them from a guy who wanted to breed. I was kind of sorry i missed out on all that bacon. We never named them, just in case.

When I first got chickens, I knew right away that I was going to have to process extra boys. Once I processed them, I still did not want to eat their meat, but I understood hunters better.
Now, I am cool with anyone killing an animal for food. Though I do think it's best to use as much of the animal as possible.
As for large animals though, I am not quite there yet. I would bond with a pig or cow more than a bird.

I am more fond of cows, especially if i had owned her and milked her. Don't know if i could deal with that. Could if i were hungry enough. The cats are having a puke off, Mother cat is winning. I just sit down and another puke happens.
