The All Night Diners

Ok, i am feeling a little less wimpy now. I think i cut about 10 feet of trail today besides starting 2 bonfires. I should get a lot more done tomorrow because i got the logs out of the way for a pretty good stretch. The darned guineas have been perching on my truck. DH is not impressed, nor am i. I was able to get them all into the run save one this evening. They were hungry after running around all day. They are finally starting to range a bit further than they were.

Ha ha! I don't think most people pay attention to 10-20% chance of rain. Well, I didn't. And I was shocked when about two hours ago, the sky exploded, and it began to pour.
The hunters (they were sold a piece of our property years ago) are in, and gave me wood when they were getting their winter supply cut today.

Well isn't that nice! Good to have helpful people around. We are supposed to get rain late tonight , which probably means the workers won't show up. Even if the rain stops they will use it as an excuse, Oh, the wood is wet! Pussi (cats) boys. I guess might do some housework tomorrow to keep the peace. I really need to do some laundry and dishes. Two of my least favorite activities.
I find it hard to believe temperatures in the 30s are just around the corner when it is 70 out there tonight!

I was so warm while bathing the little one. But it would be stupid to waste the warm air in the house.
Air conditioner on for half an hour, then switch to heat two hours later?
