I got these guys as 1 day old chicks a couple of months ago. Due to my newbie unknowing-ness and gullability (those are words, okay?) they said they were americaunas and I said "COOL!"

Now I'm doubting it and thinking they're "americanas" or EE's? Let me know what you think!
There's 3 of them. 1 rooster and 2 hens. The third hen hates the world and is hiding but you can catch a glimpse of her in the top left corner.

Really pretty birds. I also have an Ämeraucana" that is just an Easter Egger. I found out that most feed stores sell what they list as Americana or Ameraucana are usually Easter Eggers and is a crap shoot on what colors/traits youll end up with.

Thought so, thanks! I have no problem with that, and I see EEs have a pretty big fan club here anyways. I'm in love with the roo and his favorite hen. They act like a monogamous couple and they're beautiful, too! :)

I actually bought them from a hobby farm in my area! I haven't seen them in feed stores here. I am fine with it either way, but I definitely hadn't done my research when I bought them. I had a mystery chick that lost it's companion and was alone so I rushed to get a few more chicks. :)

They're Easter eggers, which personally I prefer to pure Ameraucanas for my backyard flock. I like the visual variety, both of the hens themselves and in the colors of eggs I get.
