The amazing blind white crested duck

She is so amazing today she ran around flapping her wings trying to fly out of excitement and plucking grass out of the mud these are things she has never done before

Aww she sounds like she has really acclimated to her condition.. Which means she has a very good care taker.

Today my blind duck could not find her flock and instead of just standing there looking lost she started to quack real loud and all the ducks came running to see what was up and she was glad to find them and off she went how amazing....

That's great they came running, but what about preds are they in a very secure place so she isn't subject to preds getting to her?.

yes they free range in our back yard and we pin them at night plus we have 3 dogs that stay out with her during the day. we do have hawks but they are small. The only thing we have to watch out for is we people let their dogs out in the early morning that how we lost 3 of them 5 months ago but its OK now because we don't let them out until the dog our out

Another awesome day!!!!! today was the first time she swam around the pool even under the water.......... She has not done that since she was 2 weeks old
