I recognize very little of what was mentioned, so perhaps I'm old school

Vampire Hunter D (the ORIGINAL not Bloodlust), Fist of the North Star, The Slayers, Dragon-Half (GREAT movie!), Wicked City, X, Gunsmith Cats and Blue Seed are among my favorites.

Oh man, I weaned myself off Anime and Manga 5 years ago ... and now since I've read this post all I want to do is read the ending of Inu Yasha! I have the entire Ranma manga on CD, though it's been buried in my anime box for years now. Anyone know where I can read the IY graphic novels online? Thanks

I like anything by Miyazaki, preferably subbed (ex. "My Neighbor Totoro"). Dubbed anime annoys me most of the time.

I like "Rurouni Kenshin," "Outlaw Star," "InuYasha," "Saber Marionette J," "Trigun," "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water," "NightWalker," and quite a few others. DH is into manga; he likes "Azumanga Daioh," "Crayon Shinchan," and "Yotsuba&."
