The Anticipation is Too Much!

I'm driving out tomorrow to pick them up, and I've had the incubator up and running since Thursday, but argh, I just can't wait anymore! Hence why I'm here making this thread.

Regular 'ole coturnix! Oops, I forgot to ask if they were any special variety, but I'm betting on Jumbos.

Ahhh! You're where I want to be!! Ahaha, oh dear, incubating its gonna be a loooong 16-18 days...it's even harder to wait knowing what's coming.

it is really nice when they are a bit older, because you don't have to worry that a breath of wind will kill them. but know i have to worry about fighting

I can imagine! I keep telling myself not to read the "HELP CHICKS DYING" threads because it just makes me worried it'll be me in three weeks.

I was worried about everything with my chicks...worried about the heat (is it too hot?), the sound (is it too loud?), the food (is it the right kind?), even their butts (are they too poopy?). They are thriving today maybe a little worry goes a long way? Lol good luck it sounds like these chicks are going into greats hands!!

Don't read the doom threads you'll drive yourself nuts! You'll do fine, and enjoy it immensely. BTW longest couple of weeks ever, but totally worth it.
