The anticipation may kill me

Last time we ordered chicks, the post office was SO busy they didn't call us. Thankfully, we were driving by it, and decided to see if they were there just in case. And yep! they had arrived one hour ago. Call them, or maybe go check just to be sure. Even the tracking made it look like it hadn't quite arrived. Waiting is torture! :fl Have fun

I stopped by yesterday on the way home from work and the folks at the counter assured me they’d call as soon as they came in. I’m working so I kinda have to wait until I get the call!

What breeds did you order? We are eagerly waiting for the cute chick pictures!

Australorp, Austra White, Easter Egger, golden laced Wyandotte and blue cooper maran!

Safe and sound. One still hasn’t figured out water.

So my blue cooper marans isn’t really drinking. She was pretty loud but once I tucked her underneath the premier plate, she quieted down. She’s the only one that hasn’t found the water yet, despite me trying to show her. Several times. They’re all quiet now, so I’m leaving them alone.

Since they arrived less than 24 hours after shipping, I shouldn’t worry, right? Or should I be doing more to coax her?
