"Where was he last?" Álfr asked her friend, already sniffing at the ground.
"Uh, Puma Lake I think..." Ashera said.
Álfr broke off at a brisk trot, the painful contractions preventing her from running.

"Is this your catch?" Hunter asked them kindly.

"Yes." Timmy replied. "We caught it for you."

Dahlia took a step back, but immediately after, she went back to Blazer. She licked his face again. “Thank you for saving me,” she whispered to him.

Blazer smiled a little. "It was nothing." He replied. He lifted his head up like he might of wanted to get up, so Hilina stood up and got off of him.
 
Álfr stumbled to a halt, just in sight of the lake as a particularly painful contraction ripped through her body. She let out a small yelp. The pain had brought her to the ground but she tried standing again, despite her body instinctually lifting one of her back legs.
Ashera stopped with her, concerned.
