"Papa?" Tayuga was confused, he always spent time with his father. He sat down and cocked his head.
Chandi sat and meticulously started cleaning his already clean fur, his small cat/foxlike head tiny in comparison to the wolves he was constantly surrounded by.
Hato didn't hear Tayuga this time. All he could do is think about Brynn, and blame himself for her getting lost. He let his head go from on top of his front paws, to between them as he laid there in his depression.

Tayuga, sensing his father's mood, laid down as well, his small head on his paws. He stared at hie father's eys, not saying anything else..
Chandi finished cleaning himself and set to cleaning his brother, making Tayuga's pretty fur visible again.

Sherbert sat some distance off, watching the small pup, the runt. Tayuga, the one that so looked like little Vishnu. She briefly wondered about the bat but then her mind drifted back to the little wolf runt that bore so much resemblance to her fox friend. She smiled as she remembered helping name the little pup what Vishnu had wanted to name his son.

It took Hato a couple of minutes before he noticed Tayuga in front of him. He blinked his one eye and lifted up his head. He looked at Chandi, then back at Tayuga. "You don't want to hang around a sad wolf like me, now do you?" Hato asked trying to sound like he was playing around, but his depression could be heard.

Tayuga whined, half playfully and shuffled closer, crawling on his belly toward his father. He came close so his paws were touching Hato's. He licked his dad's chin and buried his nose in his neck fur.
Chandi hung back, he still hadn't quite warmed up to either adult wolf, or any of the other pups for that matter.

Timmy lead the way towards Tashiro Pack. There were a few places were the snow was very deep, making it harder to travel.

"How are you doing, Brynn?" Hunter asked after they had traveled a while.
“I’m okay,” Brynn told Hunter. She was better than okay really. She was soon going to see her family again.

Hato looked at Tayuga. "You two go play in the den with your fun siblings." Hato said as a suggestion, not a command.

Timmy suddenly stopped and looked at Hunter. Feeling slightly nervous for some strange reason, he said to Hunter, "Here, the camp is just ahead. You take her to the Alphas, and I'll stay here till you return."

Brynn bumped up and down on Hunter out of excitement. “Do you know my daddy?” she asked Timmy. She didn’t know Timmy, but he obviously knew where she lived and everything.

Timmy nodded but looked away quickly.

"Alright." Hunter replied. "Thank you for leading me here." He smiled at Brynn. "Ready?"
