Blazer saw Korrin, and heard what she said. He let out a small grawl like he was in charge, then set the rabbit down. He sniffed Uhtred's hole, and assumed that he was a pup that belonged to Korrin, and that maybe he was trapped inside. So, as big as Blazer was, he stood above the whole and started digging. Occasionally he'd stick his head in trying to snatch up the little pup.
*korrin heard his growl and snarled back.*
Uhtred didn't answer, there was two wolves, it could've been an ambush for all he knew.
Uhtred was terrified, he himself started digging himself deeper.
Blazer ignored her. He was much bigger than he, and still sometimes though he was a Beta. He kept digging.
Blazer dug quickly with his large paws, and soon could see the pup. He reached down, and gently grabbed the pup by its scuff and pulled it out. He backed away from the hole still carrying Uhtred in his powerful jaws.
Uhtred was confused at this wolf's gentleness. His mother had said to always avoid strange wolves, that they might kill him. But this wolf could easily kill him, and yet... he wasn't. Uhtred whimpered slightly but didn't struggle. He would meet his end sooner if he struggled.
*korrin was surprised by how gentle he had pulled the little pup out of the hole.*
Blazer felt the pup struggling. He knew he was much stronger than the pup, but he gently set it down and gently placed a paw on it so it couldn't run away.
Then he looked at Korrin. "I thought this was yours." He said sorta sternly. Then he looked down at the pup he was holding. "He's not mine."
Uhtred had been raised wild, he was not going to any pack. He was a barbarian by heart! "I belong to no one!" he yelled defiantly.
Blazer was quite shocked by what the pup shouted, but he kept his paw on it. He lowered his head close to the pup, and said with almost a dangerous sounding grawl. "Neither do I, so be careful."
Uhtred growled back, "I belong to no one, not after mum died," he continued defiantly.
