Marcus jumped when he heard the alpha's voice. He looked back at him and trembled.

Whip walked to her father's side and tried to make her best threatening growl. She was trying to help.

“Oh, Blazer,” Dahlia stood up. “We were just having a bit of fun, and we accidentally ran into the den,” she told him, stammering a bit.

Whip cowered slightly but made no move to go back inside.
