Hearing that, Zenaida went closer.

Hilina was watching him. "Uh, no? That's not my den." She replied.

“I know” King replied. “But we left Dahlia and Marcus over there, and we didn’t say goodbye”

Chicxulub stared at the rapids below, her expression almost trancelike, as a wave of memories washed over her. She hadn’t been here since she was a pup. Slowly she walked down the hill toward the cliff side. As she approached, she could hear the sound of the raging river that lie hundreds of feet below. Suddenly frightened, she forgot her exhaustion and bolted in the opposite direction.
