Hato nodded. "We just want you to be safe. That's all." Hato told Brynn with a quiet tone.

Brynn nodded. She knew that. She just didn’t like that they didn’t trust her. She sniffed, trying to stop crying.

“Ow,” Aspen complained in her small voice. Cody got her.
