"What if my mother won't come back?!" She said.
“Well….” She thought deeply, “we’ll cross that bridge when we get there, but for now,” she said lightly licking the mud off of her ”I will just have to do, because I’m your only option for care right now.” She finished with a small genuine smile

King couldn’t make out who said that, but just asked: “Are you able to help?”
Blazer kept snarling trying to drown out any sounds.

The other wolf stopped. "Blazer! Stop! This isn't you! It's Anthony! All he ever does is put things in your head making you mental! Drop him before you kill another wolf with the encouragement of Anthony. You'll regret it again!" The other wolf told Blazer.

Now feeling threatened, Anthony got up. He grawled a little staring at the other wolf. "Lier!" He grawled.

“He’s just dropping off some food, he should probably go check the area around the den right about now.” She glanced up at Toshi, hoping he’d get it.

Finn is walking outside in the rain. "Sure is wet" Finn said.
Hoshi, too, was out in the rain, watching Gussie, her adopted gosling, okay and frolic in the rain, making little honking noises. ”You like that, don’t you?”
