“Ok!” He reasoned, starting to walk on the frozen lake. “This is pretty fun!”

Hilina followed King. She cautiously listened for any ice that might sound like it's cracking, but the ice was thick, so there wasn't any. "Yes it is." She agreed.

King went closer to the wolf. “Who might you be?” He asked politely. “I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before”

The other wolf strangely quickly moved to one side almost as if in fear. His hackles raised as if a warning should they attack, he'll fight back. He was a larger wolf, maybe as big as Blazer, but thinner, showing he doesn't eat as much as he should.

Hilina stopped. "Sorry. We didn't mean to startle you." She said surprised.

"We're not biting you?" Hilina replied. She couldn't help but notice that it looked like the wolf had been in a lot of fights, but has healed.

"Some call me Ted." The wolf replied. "That being my name, I prefer to be called that."

"Ok. Nice to meet you Ted." Hilina replied trying to sound as friendly as possible to avoid trouble. "My name is Hilina and this is my mate, King."
