The Antler Mountains ~A Wolf RP~

[Willowhisp]

Hunter suddenly crouched down close to the ground. His eyes spotted the large buck and its large antlers. Seeing those, Hunter knew this was an older deer, so it most likely had more experience. He hoped that the wolves there was enough to take it down. He crawled through the bushes with his small body trying to figure out a plan..

Jock wondered what Owl was laughing at. He still wasn't completely up to Hunter and Ade, and in fact, didn't realize that Hunter had spotted the deer yet. "You bettah not be laughing at me, young fella. I'm not as young as you are, you know."

Ade watched the buck cautiously. It had survived this long for a reason, and so had she.

Owl shushed Jock hurriedly, hoping he hadn't spooked the buck.

Blazer followed the scent of another wolf for a little while. He stood up on a rotten log on the side of the mountain and looked down. He saw the dead rabbit not too far from Sherbert. "Well." He thought interested. "Guess I'm going to get a rabbit meal after all." With that, the Loner got down real low and cautiously crawled towards Sherbert's dead rabbit with intentions to take it for himself.

Sherbert stood and walked closer to the rabbit. She picked it up again and started playing with it again.

álfr walked through the woods, enjoying the silence. Her fluffy coat blew gently in the wind and she smiled up at the moon. It wasn't quite full but it was still beautiful. She came across the creek and sat next to it. She listened, gathering a melody from the beautiful sound of the water and howled. It was a strange howl as it was more a song. The beautiful melody of her howl moved and wavered like the water. She continued this for a bit before she padded into the water, treasuring that she was alone. She hated bathing in front of other wolves because they always pointed out that she was too thin. She padded in and swam around a bit. She lay down in the shallow water when she was done and watched the life around her.

*Milly put her ears back when she heard one of her other packmates.*

Milly: hi....? *the omega said in return.*

Dragon pushed past the bushes and spotted his pack mates. “ oh milly, hilina! Nice to see you two! You heard the news about the alphas?!” He said happily

"Hi Dragon!" Hilina said excitedly seeing who it was. "News? What news?" She asked tilting her head a little.

Ade watched the buck cautiously. It had survived this long for a reason, and so had she.

Owl shushed Jock hurriedly, hoping he hadn't spooked the buck.

Sherbert stood and walked closer to the rabbit. She picked it up again and started playing with it again.

Hunter crawled around the buck. Eyeing it, he was concerned that perhaps this was too much of a challenge for the wolves that was there. He looked at the big buck's large antlers and almost felt himself shiver with a little bit of fear. "Those could be painful." He worried. "I hope that he doesn't get any of us with those!"

"Hey- young fel- oh!" Jock was about to scold Owl when his eyes spotted the large buck. "I hope that's not the catch.." Jock whispered under his breath a little concerned about the size.

Blazer shot his head up. "You've got to be kidding me!" He thought sorta shocked. He felt a small grawl wanting to come up in his throat, but he kept it down because he knew it could give himself away. He snuck as close as he could as possible without being noticed. Then he got ready to pounce should the moment come for him to get the rabbit. His golden brown eyes locked onto the rabbit with hungar.

"Hi Dragon!" Hilina said excitedly seeing who it was. "News? What news?" She asked tilting her head a little.

Hunter crawled around the buck. Eyeing it, he was concerned that perhaps this was too much of a challenge for the wolves that was there. He looked at the big buck's large antlers and almost felt himself shiver with a little bit of fear. "Those could be painful." He worried. "I hope that he doesn't get any of us with those!"

"Hey- young fel- oh!" Jock was about to scold Owl when his eyes spotted the large buck. "I hope that's not the catch.." Jock whispered under his breath a little concerned about the size.

Blazer shot his head up. "You've got to be kidding me!" He thought sorta shocked. He felt a small grawl wanting to come up in his throat, but he kept it down because he knew it could give himself away. He snuck as close as he could as possible without being noticed. Then he got ready to pounce should the moment come for him to get the rabbit. His golden brown eyes locked onto the rabbit with hungar.

Ade licked her lips, she used to be quite the hunter and this buck was a delightful find.

Alfr walked around, her fluffy coat looking green in the light of the trees. She smelled other wolves and a buck and her adrenaline kicked in. She crouched automatically and came up behind Jock, looking at the massive buck. A huge smile came across her face as she thought of taking it down.

Sherbert, with her abnormally large ears heard the breathing of another wolf. She sniffed and realized it was a male. She stood there, the rabbit hanging from her mouth, rotating her ears, trying to figure out what he wanted.

Ade licked her lips, she used to be quite the hunter and this buck was a delightful find.

Owl looked at the buck wearily.

Álfr crouched low and circled to take position opposite of Hunter.

Owl watched Álfr and took position by a flank.

Ade drooled some at the smell and took the other flank.

Sherbert set the rabbit down gently. "There are many rabbits here," she called out, staring at Blazer's hiding spot directly. "No need to take someone else's kill," she added, he head held low in a predatory manner.

Hunter decided it was finally time to step out into the open. He hoped his pack was ready. He stepped out in plain sight and the buck instantly turned towards him and pointed his large antlers down towards Hunter. Hunter croached down ready to leap should the buck charge.

Jock swallowed hard. He wasn't really ready to go out yet, so he waited for another pack mate to go out, then he'll follow.

Blazer was starting to feel like fighting. He used to be a Beta, before he got banished from his pack, but often felt like he deserved respect like one still.

Hunter decided it was finally time to step out into the open. He hoped his pack was ready. He stepped out in plain sight and the buck instantly turned towards him and pointed his large antlers down towards Hunter. Hunter croached down ready to leap should the buck charge.

Álfr leapt at the neck, sinking her teeth in, blood coating her white face. She clawed at the buck with her back feet and held on with her front.

Owl leapt at a hind hoof and started trying to sever the tendon.

Ade followed Owl's lead.

Sherbert's breath got faster, a small sign of fear. She held her head high, "I'm a beta, a howl from me calls the whole pack," she said.
