Hato noticed that the elk had slowed down, so he tried biting it again. This time, he missed. He didn't see Tallulah get kicked because she was on his blind side, but he heard it. He gave up the chase and turned around to make sure Tallulah was ok. He figured if she was he'll go back after the elk, but if she wasn't, he wanted to be near her.

"Oo!" Caiden saw the whole thing happen and he cringed when he saw Tallulah get kicked. He stopped by Tallulah to check on her.

Owen was busy trying to keep up, so he didn't see anything. He started panting hard exhausted.

*Tallulah had felt the kick for sure, but hadn't noticed yet that the kick fractured her shoulder blade until she stumbled when she tried to continue the chase.*
