*Nina jumped at his sudden movement before racing after him. She knew the way, so for the most part she didn't trip over many of the obstacles, since she knew about where they were.*
“Blazer sure wouldn’t tell you, he doesn’t tell anyone anything. Oh, and he’s paralyzed by the way, not sure if it’s permanent,” Álfr was speaking quickly and trying her best to keep the annoyance out of her tone. It wasn’t towards Hilina, it was towards Blazer.
Uhtred raced as fast as he could to get there, he wasn’t sure how far it was but he hoped he would get there before anything bad happened.
Hunter was just about to stand up when he heard the big male's commanding tone. Now he really didn't want to stand up, but he felt as if he needed to. He looked at Korrin to see if she was looking to him to make the first move. Then he slowly stood up. "Chase us out of our own territory?" Hunter replied as if he was bigger. "You just spoiled our hunt." He said trying to cover up the fact they were hiding from them.
Hilina was walking next to Álfr up until she said that Blazer was paralyzed. "What?" She asked shocked.
“If you’re coming with me you can’t stop,” Álfr said, not pausing her stride. “But yes, your father is paralyzed because he tried to start a war with another pack with only himself and another loner or two, not sure; without telling me; and got turned on; oh big surprise there; so now he’s paralyzed,” Álfr said, nearly spitting the last word out.
Hilina's mouth dropped open. She was in complete shock. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. Finally she got going again. She figured it'd be best to go with Álfr. She caught up with her and asked, "Who? Who was it? And who was with him? What pack?"
“He won’t tell me anything. He refuses to explain anything. Gets mad at me for wanting to know. He’s not fit to be an alpha, nor is he fit to be a mate. I protected him, that wolf would have killed him, and I protected him and he still won’t tell me. He endangered the pack and doesn’t think it’s necessary to tell me. And now he’s put all of the packs responsibilities on my shoulders because of his own incompetence,” Álfr’s tone had become more and more furious as the words came out.
Hilina put her ears back and her head down. She walked in silence for a little ways before asking, "Did you know my mother? My Dad's first mate?" She wanted to know if Álfr knew anything about her, or even knew or questioned what happened to her.
Big male: no one was even near when we found the deer. *his tone made it clear that he didn't believe him. It is you two that disturbed out hunt! *he said with an irritated growl.*
