Hilina came over to Laufen and laid down next to him. "That is Alexander," she replied. She looked at Alexander and said, "Here he is."
Laufen sniffed the newcomer. “It hurst when I walk on it.” The little white and brown pup told him.
"Yes," Alexander replied still eyeing Laufen's leg. "It's always best not to step on an injured leg." Alexander paused and asked, "Please tell me, how bad does it hurt when you step on it? Like a little, or so bad that you yelp loudly? Can you describe how it feels?"
“Um..” Laufen said. He’d been holding his leg loosely while lying down, and hadn’t put any weight on it since the attack. He tentatively tried standing, putting just a slight bit of weight on his leg, then flopped back down with a yelp of sharp pain. “It- it hurts, like, on the inside of my leg.” The young pup said.

Alexander tilted his head a little. He wasn't expecting the pup to get up. He had expected the pup had already put weight on his leg. "Oh, you shouldn't of done that." He said surprised. "Ok, so the bite is probably deeper than expected."
Laufen licked his mother’s muzzle, and turned to look up at the make wolf again. “What do I do, Alexander?” He said.

Sofia looked at Jezzabelle, then back at Laufen. "Are you ok?" She whispered to him.
Jezzabelle flinched at their words, she’d done wrong by everyone but it didn’t mean she was immune from painful words. And she wasn’t entirely sure that she was meant to hear them but she was sure they resented her on some level, even if they denied it. She curled up in the corner and tried to ignore them. “I’m better off alone” she whispered to herself
Laufen laid his head on his left paw, looking at his sister sitting sullenly in the corner of the cave. He didn’t know how he was feeling- a tiny bit was upset that his sister was sad, and a tiny bit was still angry. They balanced each other out, making his mind feel blank.
