fang heads out into the forest. It smells burnt here. he thinks he smells 5 other wolves but he can't tell. maybe 4 pups, one female. hard to say so he keeps walking. I was right there are 5 wolve's. fang gets down so they don't see him, if he makes any movements they might see or hear him.

Uhtred laughed then stopped short and raised his hackles. He might be smaller seeing as he technically was still a pup, even if he was older than his adoptive siblings; but the way he was raised made him stronger. He uttered a low growl.

Uhtred growled lowly the entire time the wolf passed, his hackles raised as high as they could be. He watched the wolf with his startlingly blue eyes in contrast to his black fur.
