After digging around the large rock for several minutes, he gave up. He laid down and faced the cool, Autumn breeze. He was panting, but the breeze appeared to help him cool off.

Khali watched Caiden lay down. She guessed that the rock was too big for him to dig around. She got up and sniffed around for a good place to put a den.

Starting to feel good again, Caiden looked at Khali. He stood up and walked over to her. "There's a rock. It's too big, and I can't get around it." He told her.

Caiden followed her. He decided that he liked her. "Maybe I will have a mate someday. Her. Just- ha, I sorta hope that Timmy DOESN'T come back. He'd ruin me." He thought to himself.
