Uhtred walked out of his den that was next to Korrin's. He was nearly an adult but he still had the big ears and paws of puppyhood that he hadn't quite grown into. He sidled up to the two of them yawning. "A ways younger than me," he said in a pronounced Nordic accent. "I'm adopted," he added in his normal voice, which still carried a hint of the nordic in it.

Jax watched Uhtred. “I’m Jaxon,” he told him with a nod. He assumed that the pup hadn’t been listening the whole time. He wondered what his loner story was.

"Uhtred," he said, nodding back. He had not been listening but had in fact been sleeping. "Why're you here?" he asked, cocking his head slightly, his blue eyes shining like the sky amidst his black fur.

He squinted his eyes a bit. “Just passing by,” Jax lied. He was not going to tell them that he was following a butterfly that reminded him of his lost sister. It seemed a bit embarrassing.

Uhtred scanned the new wolf, "Pack wolf?" he asked, he didn't think he was but he wanted confirmation. He yawned again before fixing the wolf back in his piercing gaze.

“No, I lost my old pack a long time ago,” Jax told him with his chin up slightly. He was hoping that neither of them would bring up the scar on his face, but it was very hard to hide. He just tried to not think about it.
