“An old very small pack,” Jax told Korrin. He didn’t really like to talk about it. He hadn’t even told Hazel many details.
Korrin: you weren't always a loner then. Neither was i. *she shared in return.*
“Yeah, it was very hard. Especially on Hazel. She probably doesn’t remember too much though. How’d you lose yours?” He looked right at her.
*korrin kept a thoughtful silence for a moment before responding to him.*
Jax brought his glance to the ground, “that doesn’t hardly sound fair.”
Korrin: no. I never knew why they hated loners so much either. But I was happier with him than I was with them anyway, so it all worked out fine.
