Dray watched the two alphas with a smile, deciding to head to the lake in his spare time. He liked talking to the animals around there, especially a few badgers that lived there.

Jock walked next to Owl looking him over. "Maybe." He said. "But you probably would be a pretty uggie female if you was one." Jock paused, then laughed about that.

"Imagine, a female with my voice!" Owl boomed, for his voice was very deep indeed. He laughed along with the other wolf. "I'm Owl," he said.

"That would be hard to live with." Jock responded. "I'm Jock. Nice to meet you, Owl."

Jock looked at Owl's big eyes blinking. "Oh." He said still staring. "I thoughta it was because you kept ya mama and papa up all night like an owl, Owl."
