Sherbert soon grew tired of waiting and walked in the den with Hazel and the pups, "I'm just going to leave this here," she said, setting the kit down. It was so much smaller than the wolf pups even though it was obviously older.

Tayuga was asleep until a strange foxlike thing snuggled up to him.
Chandi immediately found something to snuggle into and fall asleep, and that something happened to be a very fox like wolf pup.

"Oh, okay," Hazel watched as Sherbert set the kit down. She hoped Sherbert wouldn't question her being there.

Brynn jumped over to the new 'pup' to see what it was.

Tess ran over to the new pup and observed it. It didn't look very pup-like but she didn't mind. She laid down and snuggled into it.

Sherbert looked at Hazel questioningly but said nothing and walked back to the other wolves. "It'll be fine," she half lied to them and walked away.
Ashera nodded her head and rose to leave.

Chand hissed lightly at the sudden attention and backed further into Tayuga's black and red fur.
Tayuga turned his head to look at the tiny thing snuggled up to him but didn't move, he could see that it was scared.

Tayuga wasn't too happy at how close his sister was to him but he didn't want to scare the new "pup" so he did nothing.

Hazel stayed with the pups. She too watched the genet kit. She could tell it was frightened, so she very gently moved the two girls away from it. She tried her best not to scare the poor thing.

Dahlia was pleased with what the other female had said. She followed Ashera's lead.

Chandi calmed down slightly and curled up against Tayuga, having chosen a safe spit at random.
Tayuga was surprised that the small kit wasnt acting at all frightened of him. He put his head down and went back to sleep.

Ashera, now that she didn't have anything in her mouth moved much fasteron the way back.

Hazel hoped the alphas would be back soon.

Dahlia was glad they were going back to camp.
