Wolf Packs:
Sayuki Pack (Majority of the wolves must be made in this pack.)
Tashiro Pack (Some wolves can be made in this pack, but it's supposed to be a small pack.)
The Sayuki Pack's territory is most of the Antler Mountains except for Jack Rabbit Mountain. They are the largest wolf pack in the mountains.
The Tashiro Pack's territory is only Jack Rabbit Mountain. They are the smallest wolf pack in the mountains. At some time, Sayuki Pack and Tashiro Pack made an alliance because Tashiro Pack's territory was too small for them. The alliance is, Tashiro Pack is allowed to hunt Sayuki Pack's territory under certain conditions, and Sayuki Pack will not hunt Tashiro Pack's territory. Under these conditions are Tashiro Pack is allowed to hunt Sayuki Pack's territory according to the alliance:
1. Tashiro Pack must have an Alpha with them whenever they're in Sayuki Pack's territory.
2. Tashiro Pack informs Sayuki Pack of where the prey is heading, or already is, and of any new dangers/troubles.
Territory:
Map of the Antler Mountains:
![]()
The Sayuki Pack's territory is all of the mountains except for Jack Rabbit Mountain. The Sayuki Pack's camp is in the area labeled "Flatland" between Puma Lake and Bobcat River.
The Tashiro Pack's territory is Jack Rabbit Mountain. The Tashiro Pack's camp is somewhere on the East side of Jack Rabbit Mountain. Being a small pack, they have a small camp, that is hardly recognizable as a wolf camp.
No wolf goes into Wilderness Town, Shigh Valley, or Shighloh. Elk Mountain is highly feared, though some wolves do go there. Some pack members from Tashiro do go out in The Straights, but it's rare. There are lots of tall mountains and dangerous cliffs in the Antler Mountains. Land Slides and Avalanches also add to the many dangers of the Antler Mountains. The upper part of the Bobcat River is highly dangerous due to it being dangerously fast, tall cliffs on each side, and the 675 ft. drop of Bobcat Falls.
Prey:
Large Prey: Moose, White-Tailed Deer, and Elk.
Medium Prey: Mountain Goats, along with fawns and calves of larger prey.
Small Prey: Rabbits, Squirrels, Mice, Waterfowl, Turkeys, Fish, and other birds of the game family and rodents.
When the wolves go after Large Prey, it's a pack effort. No wolf by itself takes down any Large Prey. On the Medium Prey, usually, two or more wolves go after them, though in some cases, one will be successful. On Small Prey, usually, only one wolf goes after them, though sometimes more will help catch them.
Ranks:
Alpha: Each pack has its own Alpha male, and Alpha female, who are mates. These are the leaders of the wolf pack. They are in charge and will make decisions as far as the pack is concerned. They get to eat first on any hunt and must receive respect from all the other pack mates. They are the only wolves allowed to have pups, though if asked, they might give permission for other wolves to have pups too.
Beta: Each pack has a Beta pair, which is one (1) male, and one (1) female. They are second in command to the Alphas, and are to take the Alphas' place should anything happen to the Alphas. They are in charge while the Alphas are away. On a hunt, they eat after the Alphas and must receive respect from all the wolves below them in rank. They often help raise the Alphas' pups.
Mid Rank: The majority of the pack is Mid Rankers, with an unlimited supply of them. There are both Upper and Lower Mid Rankers, depending on where they are in the pack's order. On a hunt, they eat after the Beta pair, going in order of who's higher in the Mid Rank. They often are hunters, and help the Alphas in a hunt. They will also help with the Alphas' pups, though they're not really helping raise them.
Pup: The pups are the youngest wolves in the pack. The pups' parents are the Alphas unless another pair of wolves got permission from the Alphas. Being the Alphas' pups, they also get to eat first until they're old enough to get a rank. The whole pack helps look after them, though it's usually the Betas that the Alphas look to help raise them. There's usually one (1) to up to nine (9) pups in a litter.
Omega: The Omega is the lowest ranking wolf of each wolf pack. They can be either a male or female Omega, but there's only one (1) Omega in each pack. The Omega has no say in any of the pack's decisions and eats last in a hunt if there's any food left. The Omega is usually picked on by other pack members, whether for fun or as a stress reliever. The Omega is often a small wolf, possibly a runt of a litter, and skinny from lack of food, with an unhealthy look to them.
Loner: A Loner is a wolf who has no pack, and lives independently. A Loner can either be a male or female, and only one (1) Loner is allowed per a BYC member. Loners sometimes have either lost their pack or have been banished from an active pack for whatever reason. Some Loners will eventually join into an active pack. Loners often are skinny, and sometimes unhealthy looking due to not being able to get big prey, if any.
