Owl followed cautiously. "There's another wolf here," he told Jock.

Sherbert slipped into the water and paddled around. She stepped out after a minute or two and shook herself dry. Her delicate features becoming apparent. She blinked as she spotted the other wolves and thought it to be a mated pair. They're out late, she thought.
"There is?" Jock looked at Owl and asked. He looked around. "Hm. I wonder who."

"Smells female," Owl said, looking at the small slender silhouette on the other side of the lake. He stalked towards it, he had to make sure it wasn't a threat.
"A female?" Jock quickly said. "Ooo-oo!" He started looking a little harder around. Then he noticed that some water looked like something was moving in it recently by the way it moved. "Over there, I think." Jock said looking in Sherbert's direction.

Sherbert noticed the other two coming closer and just stood quietly, rotating her large ears. So it wasn't a pair but two males, she mused. She held herself high and just watched.

Owl went the direction Jock was looking.

Jock walked alongside Owl. He was starting to hold his head a little lower than usual trying to see through the darkness. "Be careful, Owl. I don't know as if I recognize the scent." He said smelling the air. "She smells pretty though." He said in all seriousness.

Owl chuckled. "I don't recognize it either," he said, then added, "How do you smell beauty?"

Sherbert held herself high but was getting slightly nervous. She wasn't supposed to be here without an alpha, even if she was a beta. And even if she had ended up here on accident.

Jock smiled, and replied. "Cause I know." He kept getting closer and closer to Sherbert and was almost to her. Jock wagged his tail a little.

Sherbert sighed, relieved, they weren't here to hurt her. She held herself as high as she could, even though she was tiny. And her large ears made her look younger than she was. She focused her eyes on the first male. Then looked to the other and was still surprised it wasn't female. "Hello," she said, "I am the beta of Tashiro. I was wondering the forest in search of..." well, she wasn't sure she wanted to share that, "... and ended up getting off track."

Owl cocked his head at the wolf that looked younger than even him but something told him she was in fact older than him.
