Sherbert backed up again, tearing her feet up farther. She howled again.

Owl cocked his head, there it was again. "Hear it that time?" he asked.
Timmy laughed. By now he had stopped walking towards her, though. He knew there was more glass, and he wasn't about to step in it. Still grawling deeply, he raised his head up pleased with himself.

Jock's ears quickly went up. "Yeah-, maybe? I don't know." He said listening hard.

Sherbert whimpered and howled again as her feet continued getting torn even without her moving. Why is he being like this? She thought to herself.

Owl was growing concerned now. It was the same wolf over and over again.

"Like howling is going to do anything." Timmy laughed at her. Then finally, he left her and slipped away into the darkness leaving Caiden there alone with her.

Jock suddenly jumped out of his window and quickly spoke up. "Yes! I hear it now!" He was ready to run to it when a certain thought entered his head. "I hope it's not that Lonah.." he worried.

Hato smiled about this. "Tatsuya is really a good wolf." He thought to himself. "Too bad he couldn't make it out with Sherbert and be the Beta male."

"Good night Tatsuya." Hato said pleased with him. "Yes. You may."
"Thank you," he said and walked off.... Once he got back to his den, he laid down, he liked the feeling of the cold stone under his muzzle.

Sherbert, forgetting she was standing in a pile of glass, collapsed. This time it was more of a scream than a howl as the glass dug into her side.

"There's a loner?" Owl asked, confused, following Jock.

Hato smiled one last time before drifting off to sleep. He hoped that he didn't have bad dreams about the day's advents, though eating some nice goat meat would be a pleasant dream.
