Owl woke later and left the cabin to stretch his legs.

Sherbert left her den, still with a limp in her step and went to the river at the crossing point. She laid down by it and watched the other side.
Jock had fallen asleep, and had slept for a while. Eventually, he woke up, and realized that Owl was gone. After he looked around the cabin for a bit, he jumped out and went back to the camp. He went down by the lake, and was drinking some of its water.

"Did you eat the rabbit," Owl asked, also lapping at the water.

Jock looked up at Owl. "Oh there you are, young fella." He said. "Yes, I did. It was good."
Owl simply nodded, the only thing he could do to try and get some weight on Jock was feed him.

Sherbert stood again and limped around, gathering herbs. She dug a pit, deep enough that a rabbit couldn't jump out and dropped the herbs in. Then she went off in search of a rabbit.

Suddenly, Hunter came up from behind the two. "Hello Owl and Jock." He said.
"Oh good morning, Huntah." Jock nodded his head in response.

Shebert spotted a rabbit and watched it for some time before pouncing. She was careful not to kill it and she carried it to the pit. She dropped it in. It would eat only the herbs for a few days. She had learned the trick from her mother.
