Hato, still not holding himself high like he should, spotted her. "Hello, Tallulah." He greeted in an almost depression like tone.

Hato hung his head. "Sayuki Pack got a new Alpha, and he has broken our alliance. He said that we're not longer allowed to hunt their territory." Hato said almost sounding like he was going to cry.

*Tallulah stood silently as he spoke, her tail stiff as she listened. That most definitely meant there was a high possibility of a fight with the larger pack, and less chances to strengthen the pack before winter.*

Tallulah: who is their alpha now??

Still having his head hung, Hato replied. "Blazer." He looked at her and continued, "And he probably doesn't have a kind bone in him. He killed the previous Alpha, Hunter, is that tells you anything."

Tallulah: yes. Hunter, though part of a rival pack, was a respectable alpha. No wonder the alliance was broken. *she said with a sight.* I have something to tell you as well. *she stated with a more determined tone.*

Hato nodded his head in agreement, then almost froze at her next statement. "What if it's more trouble?" He worried. "What is it?" He asked fearing whatever she might say.

Tallulah: it seems to be bad timing, but... I've been noticing signs that I am going to have pups (if that's OK with you)

Hato felt his heart sink. Normally, he'd would of been overjoyed to hear that she was going to have pups. But now, due to not much hunting, he worried about his pack's survival, and now the pups' survival. He nodded his head then looked away. This was too much for him. He started to cry, though he tried hiding it.

*Tallulah was surprised, she thought that news would cheer him up a little. Even if this wasn't the best time to be having pups. She flicked her tail before rubbing against him.*
