“Okay.” She watched as he walked away. Leaving her. She looked out through the opening of the cave. She wasn’t going to let him down this time.
Timmy closed his eyes to pretend that he was sleeping. As he heard the storm getting worse outside, he hoped that would cause Vishni to either get lost, or to give up on getting Sherbert or anybody else.
