When Uhtred finally finished his, which took him well into the night, he went over to Korrin to help her.

Dreki woke and yawned, stretching his wings to their full 5 and a half foot span. He let go of his grip on the cave ceiling and flew out into the night to the place where the humans often left him food.

Dreki saw wolves not too far from his eating perch and whistled low. His big leathery wings filled the air with a peculiar, almost eerie sound.

Dreki landed in a tree nearby to watch them. He was eating a banana (rather adorably) that he had just picked up from where the humans leave him food.

Uhtred was fascinated by the strange creature but he knew they had to finish the den.

Dreki continued eating his fruit and watching the wolves. He looked down, spreading his wings slightly, at the pups.
