"Sure." Khali said with a smile on her face. "Where do you think they would be?"

"Ahh," Caiden looked around. "Maybe... Not here?" Caiden said almost sounding confused.

"Ok." She had been living on these mountains for a long time so she knew her way around. She started walking over away from where they were to a random location very confidently.

Timmy watched her dreamily. Hazel was so beautiful, so he couldn't help it. But then he remembered how Hato and Caiden were missing, so a feeling of sadness came over him.

Hazel sat there for a minute. She could tell Timmy was still feeling sad. “Do you want Vito to try to find them?” She was sure he could if he tried.

Caiden followed sniffing around, hoping to smell someone familiar. He looked at Khali and said, "Um, if you smell any other wolves... Ah, just let, us, know, please?"

Hazel sat there for a minute. She could tell Timmy was still feeling sad. “Do you want Vito to try to find them?” She was sure he could if he tried.

Timmy looked to her and nodded. "If he wants to." Timmy replied, though he doubted that he would want to.

Caiden followed sniffing around, hoping to smell someone familiar. He looked at Khali and said, "Um, if you smell any other wolves... Ah, just let, us, know, please?"

"Ok, I will." She said to Caiden. She suddenly smelled a whiff of another wolf. "Caiden, I smell something!"

Timmy looked to her and nodded. "If he wants to." Timmy replied, though he doubted that he would want to.

Hazel nodded back. “Alright, what are we looking for?” She asked him, assuming that Vito would be fine with it.

Vito was still sitting on Hazel’s back. He was going to do it. He could tell it was important. Timmy may have been mean to him, but he brought Vito back to Hazel, and he gave him a delicious meal. Vito accidentally started smacking his beak remembering the taste.

"Ok, I will." She said to Caiden. She suddenly smelled a whiff of another wolf. "Caiden, I smell something!"

Caiden smiled at her agreement before sniffing around. "What? Really?" Caiden pounced over instantly sniffing around with his tail wagging wildly.

"I think so!" Khali's tail started slightly wagging too. "Does it smell like your friends at all?"

"Hato." Timmy replied. "He looks just like me, except his fur is darker and he's missing an eye." Timmy wanted to also say Caiden, but Caiden probably didn't care to see him if he had survived.
