Hazel kept looking back at Caiden as she walked with Timmy. She felt bad for what she had done, but she still didn’t like him. He made her angry with the way he treated her mate.
Timmy contiued walking away after saying goodbye to Caiden. He occasionally looked to Hazel, but didn't say anything.
Khali felt a bit bad for Caiden because she could tell that him and Timmy used to be friends.
Caiden just stood there watching Timmy leave like he usually did. "I'm sorry too." He quietly whispered to himself.

Hazel looked ahead. She pushed up against Timmy again. It’s where she felt safest. “Well that was a disaster,” she whispered. She wished she wouldn’t have sent Vito to go find them.

Khali heard him but didn't say anything. Her stomach growled very loudly and she remembered that she still had her rabbit. She started eating it and then looked at Caiden. "You want any?" She asked him politely.

Timmy nodded his head. "That was Caiden." He replied.

Caiden was still watching where Timmy had left even though Timmy was now out of sight. "Ah, no. I'm good." He said sounding mindless as he stared off at where Timmy had gone just like he usually did when Timmy would walk away, leaving him alone.

"Ok." She said and then ate the rest. She watched Caiden and then her mind went to her past life again.

“I’m sorry, Timmy. It’s my fault that we found them. I couldn’t have even helped you when he was doing that.” She shook her head remembering him laying in front of Caiden.
"It's ok." Timmy replied, then looked at Vito with almost displeasure. "Caiden has two eyes if you hadn't noticed." He wanted to say to him.

Caiden sighed still looking off into the distance. He took one step forward, but stopped himself. He actually wanted to chase Timmy down, but figured it might be a bad idea.

Hazel still felt bad. She was starting to feel tired, but then she remembered her nightmare and shivered.

Vito stared back at Timmy.
Timmy walked with them for awhile before stopping. "Do you want to take a break?" Timmy asked remembering the leg trouble Hazel had had.
