Khali had only howled once before in her whole life when the fire happened. She had never heard anyone else howl though. So when Caiden howled, she thought it was amazing. "Wow." Khali said, speechless.
Caiden finished his howl. "Okay. Maybe somebody heard that?" Caiden said a little nervously. He never had howled in front of anyone before, so he was feeling a little embarrassed.

"If he's so harmless..." Hato fixed his stare in her eyes. "Then where is he?" He asked in a Timmy like fashion.

Timmy kept himself frozen, but Hato instantly looked over there when he heard Tallulah's voice.
*Tallulah flicked her tail. She could see hato through the bushes by the boulder now. She looked between them now. She heard hato speaking of him.*

Tallulah: stop hiding from hato Timmy. *she said with a more stern tone.*

"Hopefully." She said to Caiden while looking at him.
"Well, maybe we should get going again." He said, trying to forget that he actually howled in front of another wolf. He walked ahead a little and glanced back. "You know Caiden, she's sorts pretty." He thought completely randomly.

"You're trouble just like he is." Hato instantly told her.
“If he’s so troublesome then why were you getting sad over him? Why was he getting sad over you? As far as I can tell you are the one causing all his pain and causing him to be like that!” She yelled at him before catching herself.

Timmy finally looked at her slowly with his slivery-blue eyes. "What says I'm hiding?" Timmy asked looking to flip the tables.

Hato stepped back. "We're good at faking, you know." Hato said quietly still looking at her. He didn't want to admit it, but he was faking it all to get truth out of Hazel. He knew that if that vulture was hanging out with a wolf, there's no way it'd eat another wolf.
