Khali looked at Caiden with a giant smile. Her tail started wagging crazily as well. She licked his cheek and said, "I definitely want to be your mate!!" She said and nuzzled him again.

"Then let's be mates then!" Caiden stood up as best as he could.

"Dude you can still visit her," Uhtred said, "You could even join their pack," he added.

"You wanted to hurt a pup, Blazer," Alfr said, her voice getting louder with every word, her anger rushing back to her. She stood, her hackles raised. "A pup! P U P P Y! Do you realize how low that is?! I don't care who the parents are, she was a pup! And a blind one at that!" Alfr was practically screaming now, tears streaming down her face. She paced as she spoke, her tail swishing violently. "What kind of wolf does that? What kind of 'alpha', does that?" she mocked.

"Not the pup. Hunter. He deserves death." Blazer sat up. He was trying not to raise his voice. "Hunter killed the previous Alpha." Blazer continued in the false information.

Khali nodded her head and nuzzled him again. "Would you want to be my mate, Caiden?" She said awkwardly while looking away from him.

"Well, um.. that level of... closeness, or intimacy as one might call it is usually reserved for mates... or lovers," Sherbert said slowly backing away from the den.

“Sherbert, with all due respect, I agree, but she is my sister, and I love her like family,” he said calmly but firmly, “And if we weren’t blood related, we would be lovers.”

Timmy started limping away. He looked back giving Jax a glance that said, "Don't you ever dare stealing my mate." He pressed himself in Hazel, and nuzzled her lightly.

Hazel nuzzled him back, but she couldn’t help but feel bad for Jax. She shut her eyes and clenched her teeth to try to stop herself from saying anything back.

"Dude you can still visit her," Uhtred said, "You could even join their pack," he added.

Jax looked up at Uhtred. Then he looked back at his sister and her “mate”. He didn’t like the way Timmy was looking at him.
