Hunter bounded as fast as he could through the forest. He could smell the Mountain Lion. The scent of another wolf worried him, and especially the fact it smelled like a mother wolf.

*korrin ran, ducking in and out of thickets, using her smaller size to her advantage as best she could. She was heading for the cliffs. There was a small ridge she could jump down to that she hoped the mountain lion didn't know about. The only problem is that she would need help from another to get back up. But she couldn't lose the cat any other way. Just as she was about to jump to the ledge, the cat swiped her back end with her claws, raking her left leg and sending her tumbling over instead. She landed on her side, knocking the breath out of her. And knocking her out.*

Jax trotted to Korrin’s den. He was planning on surprising them.

Hunter was closing in. He now had the Mountain Lion in his sight. With a loud warning grawling bark, Hunter bravely dove onto the Mountain Lion's back and bit it in between the shoulders. The large cat meowed loudly and spin around. It tried to claw Hunter, but he let go and jumped out of the way. He grawled at it, and backed away slowly.

*korrin could hear him fighting as she slowly came to again. She groan and lifted her head slightly, trying to hear better what's going on.*

Korrin's movement caught the Mountain Lion's and Hunter's attention. The Mountain Lion started running for her, but Hunter suddenly bit one of it's back legs. It spun around to attack Hunter, but Hunter swiftly moved out of the way. He grawled warningly as he once again, backed up.
