"If you want to." Alexander replied. He walked away from her some to shake his fur dry. Then he laid down in the sun so it'd help dry him off.

"If you want to." Alexander replied. He walked away from her some to shake his fur dry. Then he laid down in the sun so it'd help dry him off.

Hazel sat down at the entrance of their den. Her tail wagged uncontrollably, but she kept a tough face on. She tried to look official. She didn't even know if she was allowed to be doing this, but there was no one around to tell her it was wrong. She just hoped Timmy wouldn't come back soon to see that she left...

Brynn sat and squinted her eyes trying to copy Hazel.

"Oh, thanks." She smiled, looking back at him. She stood up first and shook the water out of her fur. She also stretched carefully. She laid down and let out a satisfied sigh, closing her eyes.

Owen walked around some. He walked back over to Hazel and said, "mommy?"

Hazel tried to stay tough, but when they came over to her she couldn't help but smile. "No, no mommys here," she giggled.
