Alexander smiled. He enjoyed helping others. Even in this case, he accidentally was what went wrong.

"No," Hazel squealed and giggled, but she didn't back away. She let it happen. She began thinking back on when Timmy asked her if she would ever want pups. Hazel had told him "yes", but know she didn't know if it would even be possible. Timmy was acting weird, and they were both in a pack now. She closed her eyes and took in the moment. She longed for a life like this.

Alexander laid his head on his paws. He started thinking of pups. He wondered what it would be like having pups. He remembered that his brother had pups, but he never even saw them open their eyes yet when they disappeared. He sighed.

Tess snuggled into Hazel's fur. "Mommy." She said in a content voice.

Owen climbed down and snuggled up to Hazel's belly. "Mommy?" He said one last time. He snuggled into her fur he closed his eyes. He fell asleep and dreamed about nursing. He made little sucking sounds to prove this.
