Alexander laid his head on his paws. He started thinking of pups. He wondered what it would be like having pups. He remembered that his brother had pups, but he never even saw them open their eyes yet when they disappeared. He sighed.

Ginger decided that she wanted to sit by Alex so she got up and stood by him. "Can I lay down with you?" She asked him.
