"Y-yeah," Hazel looked over at Timmy as she started to limp away from them. She had forgotten to hide it.

Ginger also stood submissively. She waited for an answer.

Dahlia stood at Hilina's side. She hoped Blazer's answer would be yes.

Hilina nuzzled her father. "They tried hard. Please say yes." She whispered in Blazer's ear.

Blazer frowned. "Alright." Blazer said. "This is good enough." He didn't want to say that, but what else could he do.

Alexander smiled the biggest smile in his life. He first looked at Ginger. Then back to Blazer. "Thank you, Alpha. Thank you!"

Hilina nuzzled her father. "They tried hard. Please say yes." She whispered in Blazer's ear.

Blazer frowned. "Alright." Blazer said. "This is good enough." He didn't want to say that, but what else could he do.

Alexander smiled the biggest smile in his life. He first looked at Ginger. Then back to Blazer. "Thank you, Alpha. Thank you!"

Ginger stood up and nuzzled Alexander. "Thank you so much, Alpha!" She smiled.

Hato watched Hazel till she was out of sight. Timmy swallowed hard. He feared what Sherbert was going to say.

Álfr watched from the den entrance and smiled a little sadly, remembering when she'd been that excited for pups the first time.
