"It's ok, little one." Hunter said quietly and kindly. "We won't hurt you." Hunter instantly noticed that the pup was very young, and possibly not completely on solid foods yet.

Hunter sighed, but smiled. It was what he feared, but he smiled at what the young pup thought their names where. He decided to ask another question. Again, the pup probably wouldn't know, but it might be worth the shot. "Do you know the name of your pack?" He asked.
