Chandi walked hesitantly toward Hunter. The small genet kit was barely the size of an adult wolf's head. "Thank you," he said shyly in his small voice. Tayuga was shocked, Chandi had almost never spoken to anyone but him before.

Hato looked at Hunter and nodded agreeing with Chandi. He laid down by Brynn and started licking her all over with deep excitement.

“Oh, okay,” Brynn said sadly.

She watched in amazement at Chandi. She hadn’t ever heard his voice before.

“Ah, no!” Brynn giggled loudly. She tried licking him back.

Hunter smiled, and started leaving again.

Hato paused from licking Brynn. "Wait, Hunter! Where can I find you?" Hato asked.

"Fawn Mountain. By Elk Mountain, but far enough away from Spooky Valley." Hunter replied.

Hato nodded. He was a little surprised on the travel. "Thank you." Hato said.

"You're welcome, Brynn. Don't get lost again, ok?" Hunter said with a smile. He tilted his head when she mentioned Jock, and wondered how Jock was, and when she had seen him. He turned and started walking away again.

Hunter left and caught up with Timmy. Together, they headed back towards Truman Pack's camp.

Hato smiled happily at Brynn. It had been a long time since he had been that happy. His tail wagged wildly.
