Timmy kept softly repeating what he had said in Hazel's ear. He didn't know how to help her, but he knew that would. Occasionally he'd whisper how she was doing great for encouragement.
“I love you,” Hazel told him in between breaths. Finally, she had birthed her first. A boy. She tried bringing her head up to look at him, but she couldn’t see much. She was feeling very weak. She dropped her head and tried to focus on breathing again.
"I love you too." Timmy whispered. "You're doing great." He looked at the new born pup. "It's a boy." He whispered with excitement. He tried keeping his voice down low and soft. He licked her cheek. "Keep breathing. In, then out."
Becky giggled, then slowly got up. "Thank you, my hero. " She said.He giggled still smiling, and licked her nose back.

“I want,” Hazel took a raspy breath, “I want to,” she couldn’t quite get it out. “I,” her eyes started to close all of a sudden.
"Want what?" Timmy asked quietly. He was starting to feel anxious, but was trying to pretend that he wasn't. He didn't want Hazel to get concerned or anything.
He slowly stood up, waiting to catch her if needed so she doesn't fall. "Your welcome, ma'am.)Becky giggled, then slowly got up. "Thank you, my hero. " She said.
