Cody wagged his tail and got back up. He licked Aspen back, then tried biting her.

“Well, then, if you don’t care enough to trust me, then you obviously don’t care at all, so you can stop trying to “protect” me. I don’t need it, and you don’t love me, so I don’t want it,” Brynn told Owen. With that, she turned around and went back into her corner.
