“Have you found her?” Hazel asked Cody, wondering if that’s what he meant.

Hunter heard Jax call for Timmy. "Oh, no." He said to himself finally figuring out what was going on. "Come on," he called to Myranda who had gotten behind, "we need to find a log to get out over the water to help them out. We'll want it much further down to be sure we can get them."

"Ok, Dad," Myranda replied catching her breath. She looked at the river. She saw Jax, but not Timmy. "Timmy? Where, is?" She was instantly worried, but decided to just do as her father said.

Jax grabbed Timmy by the scruff of his neck and pulled his face up, above the water. It was becoming tricky to stay afloat now.

“Well, we’ll never know unless we try...” Brynn opened her mouth and slowly started to scoot closer to the berries.

Cody sniffed the ground real quick and looked back up at Hazel. He thought the ground smelled a little like Aspen, and he wondered if his mother noticed.

Timmy gasped at the final chance of air. He kicked his feet a little, but didn't know what he was doing.

Hunter saw that Max's swimming was now uneasy. "Hold on!" He called. He got himself a running start and dove in the river close to Jax and Timmy.

Blazer shook his head a little. Just then, an unfamiliar wolf showed up in front of them.
